IAM and Least Privilege
Least privilege means a component can do exactly what it needs and nothing more, and it is enforced by cloud IAM rather than by intention. The reason it dominates enterprise reviews is that an over-permissioned role is the difference between a contained incident and a full-account one, and AI agents made the blast radius larger by giving a compromised role something that acts on its own.
